Billi attended the Columbus College of Art and Design, and graduated with a BFA in graphic design.  In the 1990's, after a move to Southern California, Billi began work in the field of package design. She worked several years at Leon Richman Design, where she met Damion, and later became Creative Director for Anthem Worldwide LA. In 2000 she followed her husband to Honolulu, Hawaii. While in Hawaii she continued to work for a year at Anthem Worldwide, LA by telecommuting and found working remotely to fit her lifestyle. Since then she has worked with Damion Hickman Design and several independent clients including Liz Lange Maternity, Honolulu Symphony and Masterfoods.

Billi spends as much free time as possible with her husband, son and daughter.
