Damion moved to Southern California from Colorado in 1990 after graduating from Art School. Damion worked for GT Bicycles, Alford Label, KTA & Associates as well as Leon Richmond Design before starting Damion Hickman Design in 1994. Damion is an avid cyclist and has competed at the Expert level for over 23 years. Damion has won State Championship titles as well as a World Cup mtn bike race.

Damion also likes riding his dirt bike at the MX track, snorkeling at the beach and maintaining his saltwater reef tanks. He has been actively involved in a cycling club named VeloSport since 2003 and is the current acting President of that organization with over 300 members.

Damion is also president of Exit West Enterprises, the only licensee partner of NO FEAR Inc. apparel company. Damion and his wife, Andrea live in San Juan Capistrano, California.
